Info
After 20 gigs with the great Franz Ferdinand, 20 headliner shows in spring in front of excited crowds, after first adulations in the british and european music press and of course all those hysteric Polish and Russian fans on MySpace, after all that madness we have to agree that Kissogram deserve a 5 minute break to catch a breath and let music speak for itself in the meantime.
That's why they picked "Rubber&Meat", the catchiest song of their third album and made it their new single.
Now it's gotta be on heavy rotation on every radio station. To avoid confusion and misunderstandings, "Rubber&Meat" is not a S&M 101 for prudes. In fact the song deals with the daily routine of a girl working in a meat factory. Danceable? You bet! You won't get it out of your ears and feet. And before you know it, you'll be singing along. After that short
breather, back on the road again with festivals and shows in europe coming up and apparently Franz Ferdinand were so delighted with Kissogram, they now want to take them to Japan for another 8 shows in November. Almost as hard as working in a meat factory – poor guys.
