Info
"Nothing, Sir!"... will be the next longplay released on the 27th april on Louisville Records. "Nothing, Sir!" is chameleonic in the same way like the last album but also of the continuity in
the rhythm and the particular elements as well homogeneous (real drums played by "Die
Sterne"-drummer Christoph Leich).
Kissogram work with elements of blues, punk, disco/electro and actually flamenco or far
eastern music influences ("Snow White In The Train"). Also in programm swing elements or Kurt Weill, but steadily pushed by energetic beats and a raising aggressiveness.
Songs on "Nothing, Sir!" are in melody and style different. Jonas Poppe screams or murmurs
or performs his nostalgical-dark ballads with ahoarsely voice. "Nothing, Sir!" is new just like
exceptional and not comparable."Bohemian disco wave" [WOZ Zuerich]
"hungover melancholy electronic pop" [NME]. "Discosound with sweating rock ´n roll" [Tagesspiegel, Berlin] were efforts to describe
Kissogram´s sound. The band delivers very grudgingly -like bands ususally do - attempts to
define.
Comparable to the last album Jonas attach great importance on englisch lyrics, getting more comprehensive.
"I´m The Night Before"/"I´m the Morning After" could be the next Single.
